Here's how to add an undergraduate grader to Brightspace and MyLab. Note that the following steps need to be completed in order. 1. Step One (to be done by the instructor). First, add your grader in Brightspace. (Find instrunctions elsewhere on this page.) Choose the role “Grader” for your grader in Brightspace, not TA. If your grader is not FERPA certified, you will not be able to add him/her in this step. Ask your grader to complete the FERPA certification. Repeat the process after they get FERPA certification. 2. Step Two (to be done by the grader). Login to Brightspace and go to one of the sections you are grading. Go to Content, and then go to Pearson MyLab n the left panel, then click on the orange box that says MyLab and Mastering - Basic, and follow the link to Open MyLab. When asked, enter the following access code: WMLLAT-ACCAD-MUTCH-STATE-DOBBY-NJORD 3. Step Three (to be done by the instructor, after the grader has completed Step Two above). Login to Brightspace and go to one of the sections you are teaching. Go to Content -> Pearson MyLab -> MyLab and Mastering - Basic -> MyLab and Mastering Course Home (in left column) Click on Course Tools on the left of your screen. Then click on the Course Roster. Look for the name of your grader. In the column Role will show his/her status as Student. Click on the word Student. Use the pop up menu, to change his/her role to Teaching Assistant. Then click save on the upper right corner. Again these steps need to be completed in order. They are for the undergraduate graders only. If you have a graduate grader, there is a different set of instructions. ---------------------------------------
